Description

The University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care, Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin seeks a dynamic and innovative hematologist/medical oncologist interested in leading our Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program.  This exciting leadership opportunity works with a growing multidisciplinary team of transplant professionals, provides the best possible care for patients, and conducts innovative clinical and translational research.  Additionally, faculty have leadership roles in multiple regional, national and international consortiums, including the Big Ten Cancer Research Consortium (BTCRC), Consortium to Overcome Multiple Myeloma (COMMIT), National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) and Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG). All faculty are active members of the NMDP/CIBMTR Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network (BMT-CTN).

The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health has a deep and profound commitment to diversity both as an end in itself but also as a valuable means for eliminating health disparities. As such, we strongly encourage applications from candidates who foster and promote the values of diversity and inclusion.  Applications from Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) individuals, women, and LGBTQ+ and nonbinary identities are strongly encouraged.
